It is obvious that the COVID-19 pandemic has become a challenge for the whole world. COVID-19 took world leaders and international organisations by surprise and clearly demonstrated the deep divisions in the global political and economic architecture. Sadly, the first reaction that countries showed was not solidarity and coordinated actions but national egoism.
Beyond the curve:
The Synergia Foundation has been closely monitoring the course of COVID-19 since its beginning and have been covering its destructive passage globally through our INSIGHTS. We now have a better understanding of the epidemiology of the disease and have developed some mitigating strategies with the help of experts who have worked on the ground in public health, disaster and crisis management and NBC (Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare). In this endeavour, we have held discussions with a wide range of virologists, infectious disease, public health both in India and abroad to come to cogent and practical solutions in mitigating the spread to enable resumption of economic activities.
